a whirlwind!!

First, a quick HELLO to Grandma and Grandpa Kessler in Bozeman, MT. We had a lovely breakfast with them on our way through Bozeman last week, and they gently reminded us that we had not posted on our blog since May 19th ... and that they check our blog everyday! Thank you to the loyal readers of our blog and we're sorry that we haven't posted in a long time.

So much has happened in the last 3.5 weeks ....

We took jumping pictures at St. Augustine Beach, FL as we spent a few days seeing the sights of the oldest continuously inhabited city in the US. It was a hard adjustment to not be riding our bikes everyday.

Next, some pictures that I'm embarrassed about, but I promised my friend Laura that we would post them for her viewing pleasure in Glacier National Park, MT. Check out our sweet tan lines:

We were lucky to have a few extra days because our bike trip ended in 6 weeks instead of 7 weeks, so we took the opportunity to travel to SF to visit Mrs. Toriumi, my mother's "Auntie," and Julia, my friend from college. Kon had not been to SF since he was a small child so we had a great time exploring the city.

Jumping pictures with the Golden Gate Bridge: We rented a tandem bicycle at the Fisherman's Wharf and spent sometime exploring the city by bicycle.
Picture with Mrs. Toriumi at Japan Town:

Julia's first jumping picture in the Mission District after eating the most delicious baked goods at Tartine Bakery:

After 3 days in SF, Kon and I flew to Minneapolis/St. Paul to spend Memorial Day weekend with my Uncle John, Aunt Mary, and cousin Jackie. We enjoyed the Prescott, WI Memorial Day parade and took patriotic jumping pictures for our cousin Ross, a Marine currently deployed in Iraq.
I think that is all for today. We are supposed to have internet hooked up at our house tomorrow, which should make it easier to update our blog! Take care!
