Settling in Rochester

First, some wrap up statistics from our bicycle journey:

total miles logged: 3038
total riding days: 40
average miles/day: 76

total flat tires: 26
Kon's bicycle flat tires: 13
Kon's BOB trailer flat tires: 2
Stacy's bicycle flat tires: 4
Stacy's BOB trailer flat tires: 7

Kon's favorite Dairy Queen Blizzard: Pecan Cluster
Stacy's favorite DQ blizzard: Banana Split
Favorite Ice Cream brand: Blue Bell from Texas

Favorite State: New Mexico

I think it is safe to say that we both miss being on our bicycles and that we are looking forward to the next bicycle trip ... which is probably at least 4 years down the road.

More pictures to catch everyone up on what has been going on these past few weeks. When we returned to Seattle for graduation, I was baptized at our church in Seattle the Good Shepherd Bible Study Ministry. Thanks, Tom and Karen for the pictures!

Tony took us to see his inorganic chemistry lab ...
And we both graduated from medical school.

Thank you to all of our family and friends who made it out to Seattle to celebrate our graduation with us.I started orientation last Monday. I wear a suit to work everyday and have a name badge that says I'm a doctor. Kon starts orientation tomorrow and he is busy reading about Advanced Trauma Life Support right now in his hammock in our backyard. When I'm running tight on time, I ride my bicycle into work, which feels a bit funny when I'm wearing heels.

Last, we spent the weekend in furniture stores trying to find a couch for our living room. Here is my favorite picture of Kon. He is pretending to be knitting because this chair looked like it would fit well in a nursing home.

Thanks for reading! We both officially start taking care of patients next Saturday, June 28th -- we're nervous, but excited to start our training! Take care.

Kon, were you so busy reading Advanced Trauma Life Support that you forgot to put your pants on? How does booty-hammock feel?

Suits are the way one has to roll when at the WFMC. More importantly, thanks for blogging about your baptism -- that's AWESOME; it seems like only yesterday that we were sitting in the Bagley kitchen chatting (with the pungent aroma of the George Foreman always in the background, of course).
